Ever wonder what mutagen tastes like? Well, okay, it’s probably not the most delicious thing around, but here’s a super epic and healthy alternative. It’s inspired by the sewer slime, but is ten times tastier! Check out these new Turtle Powered treats – they’re almost as fresh and cool as the ninjas themselves!
What you’ll Need:
(Makes 10)
For the Green Layer:
1 cup baby spinach
1 cup coconut water
¾ cup vanilla whole milk yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
1 banana
1 cup pineapple chunks
For the Red Layer:
½ cup chopped strawberries
1 tablespoon vanilla whole milk yogurt
2 tablespoons coconut water
For the Orange Layer:
½ cup chopped mango
1 tablespoon vanilla whole milk yogurt
2 tablespoons coconut water
For the Purple Layer:
½ cup blackberries
1 tablespoon vanilla whole milk yogurt
2 tablespoons coconut water
For the Blue Layer:
½ cup blueberries
1 tablespoon vanilla whole milk yogurt
2 tablespoons coconut water
How to Make
Step 1: Start with the Green Layer — add 1 cup baby spinach, 1 cup coconut water, 3/4 cup vanilla whole milk yogurt, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 banana, and 1 cup pineapple chunks to the base of a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
Step 2: Fill a 10-popsicle popsicle mold about ¾ of the way full
Step 3: Cover and place a popsicle stick in each popsicle. Freeze at least 2 hours before adding the next layer.
Step 4: for the Turtle-specific layers — Blend each layer separately and add on top of green layer to fill the popsicle mold.
Step 5: With both layers in the popsicle molds, cover and freeze at least 4 hours before serving.
