How to Make Patrick

TMNT Pizza and SpongeBob Patrick Night Light Crafts

Step One: Trace the templates onto the corresponding felt colors and cut.

Step Two: Glue the green shorts and waistband onto Patrick’s body. Glue the lavender flower patterns onto the shorts.

Step Three: Start stitching the top and bottom body layers together with a blanket Stitch.

Step Four: Once you’ve stitched the body together half way, start stuffing the head, arms and legs, and insert the tap light. If the light is too bright, place a small piece of pink felt on the light to diffuse.

Step Five: Stitch the body all the way closed, making sure it is fully stuffed.

Step Six: Glue on Patrick’s facial features. As an alternative, you can draw on the pupils, eyebrows, and smile with black marker.

Step 7: Cut a slit in Patrick’s back the back and insert a felt flap. Add velcro to both sides to make an opening in order to change dead batteries.

How to Make the TMNT Pizza

Step One:
Cut out a tan circle with a 5.25 diameter (top crust).
Cut out a red circle with a 4.5″ diameter (tomato sauce).
Cut out a yellow circle with a 3.5″ diameter (cheese).
Cut out a tan circle with a 4.75″ diameter (bottom crust).

Step Two: Start stitching the top and bottom crust pieces together with a blanket stitch. Once you’ve stitched it together half way, start stuffing with Polyfil and insert the tap light into the middle. Continue stitching and stuffing til the circle is fully closed.

Step Three: Cut the center of the red circle out so it looks like a ring. (This will allow more light to pass through the yellow layer above.) Glue the red ring on the top crust, then glue the full yellow circle on top of the red ring.

Step Four: Trace and cut out quarters or dimes on the red felt to make the pepperoni. Glue on randomly.

Step Five: Glue down black yarns strings in a plus (+) formation, and then in an “ex” (x) formation to form 8 slices. Stitch the middle and end points to the felt if necessary.

Step Six: Cut a slit on the back and insert a felt flap. Add velcro to both sides to make an opening in order to change dead batteries.

That’s it! Never be afraid of the dark again with these Nickelodeon night light friends!
