Candy apples + Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles = DELICIOUS. Follow this easy tutorial and do this mutated math equation right at home!
What You’ll Need:
Green apples
Popsicle sticks
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of corn syrup
1/3 cup of water
Green food coloring
Your favorite candy (in red, blue, orange, and purple)
Step 1: Embrace your inner Donatello and make the kitchen your laboratory! Combine the sugar, corn syrup, water and green food coloring in a bowl. Use a little ninja muscle and mix it up real good, looking for a consistency similar to melted caramel.
Step 2: Bring that cowabunga concoction to a boil! When it’s all melted and nicely mixed, take it off the heat, then carefully dip the apples in. You’re going to want to generously coat ‘em.
Step 3: Let the covered apples cool a bit more. Now comes the mutation! Cover them with candies and make your favorite Turtle or the entire team.
